ABOUT US
EDUCATE. INSPIRE. EMPOWER.
Since 2014, SCWEN has provided a space where young West African Muslim women can embrace their identities, pursue higher education, and develop the confidence to lead in their communities. Through mentorship, scholarships, professional development, and community engagement, we are investing in women who will create lasting change for generations to come.

INSPIRE
We help young women envision their path to success through mentorship, career exposure, educational opportunities, and community. From our celebrating graduates ceremony to empowering women through our network of Sister Chats, SCWEN creates spaces where confidence, leadership, and purpose can thrive.
SCWEN has had a meaningful impact on my professional journey. Through this community, I learned about a free Technology Fellowship. After connecting with a fellow member who was incredibly encouraging and informative, I felt truly supported. It’s inspiring to be part of a group of women who genuinely want to see one another succeed. Alhamdulillah, I was accepted into the fellowship, and I am grateful to be part of a community that fosters connection, support, and opportunity.
